ZenBot Scanner ("ZenBot", "we") runs the stock scanner at zenbotscanner.com, the ZenBot Windows app, and the ZenBot connector for AI apps. This page says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in, our sign-in provider (Auth0) gives us your email address, name and account id, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- Billing. Payments are handled by Stripe. We keep your Stripe customer id and subscription status; your card details stay with Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Your settings and scans. Your saved scans, filters, layouts, watchlists, alert settings and similar preferences, so they follow you between devices. Anonymous visitors get a random id so their scans are kept on that browser.
- Alerts. If you connect Telegram or Discord for alerts, the chat or channel id needed to send them.
- Ask Zen questions. The questions you ask Ask Zen and its answers, with your account or anonymous id. We keep them for 90 days to fix wrong answers and improve Ask Zen, then delete them. Questions are sent to Anthropic (Claude) to produce the answer.
- AI connector use. When you connect ZenBot to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app, we log each request the app makes (which tool, when, the app's name, how long it took, your account id and IP address) for 90 days, to enforce limits and fix problems. Connector keys are stored only as a one-way fingerprint.
- Usage and diagnostics. Which screens and features you use, inside the app and through Google Analytics (cookies), plus server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
- Messages you send us. Feedback and support requests, with the email address you give.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
- We do not see your card details.
- Over the AI connector, your AI app sees only what its tools return for your own account. We do not receive your conversations with that AI app, only the requests it sends to ZenBot.
Who else processes data for us
Auth0 (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (Ask Zen answers and scan descriptions), Google Analytics (usage measurement), Telegram and Discord (only if you connect them for alerts), and our hosting provider, Hetzner. Each handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Account data, settings and scans while your account is active, and for up to 30 days after you ask us to delete it. Ask Zen and AI connector logs for 90 days. Billing records as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
- Disconnect an AI app at any time in that app, or revoke its key on the Connect AI page.
- Turn off alerts or disconnect Telegram or Discord in Alert Settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser; the scanner works without Google Analytics cookies.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for your account to be deleted, by emailing support@zenbotscanner.com.
Children
ZenBot is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will update this page when what we collect changes, and change the date at the top.
